Article 1 – General Provisions
Koppie BV ("OtherKinds") operates the website www.otherkinds.co and provides customers with the option to purchase products via its webshop.
These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all orders placed via the webshop. By placing an order, the customer explicitly accepts these Terms, to the exclusion of all other conditions.
B2C scope: The webshop is available to private consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade or professional activity, as defined in Art. I.1, 2° of the Belgian Economic Law Code).
B2B scope: Professional buyers may place orders subject to a separate written agreement with OtherKinds. In the absence of such an agreement, these Terms apply in full.
Article 2 – Prices
All prices are expressed in EUR and include VAT and all legally required taxes. Any applicable shipping, reservation, or administration fees are shown separately before order confirmation.
Prices are valid as displayed and may be updated at any time. The price at the moment of ordering applies to that order, except in the case of obvious errors.
Product photos are illustrative and may include elements not included in the price.
Article 3 – Product Availability
While OtherKinds takes care to maintain accurate and complete product information, errors or omissions may occur. Obvious pricing or content errors are not binding on OtherKinds.
The product range is available while stocks last and may be changed or withdrawn at any time without liability. For specific questions about availability, sizes, delivery, or colours, please contact us in advance.
Article 4 – Ordering Process
The online ordering process follows these steps:
• Select products and add to cart
• Complete the order form (contact details and delivery address)
• Select a payment method
• Explicitly accept these Terms
• Confirm the order
• Complete payment
• Receive an order confirmation by email
The purchase is complete only after the order confirmation email is received.
OtherKinds reserves the right to refuse an order from any customer with whom there is an ongoing or prior dispute, or who has not fully settled a previous order.
Article 5 – Payment
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, all purchases are payable in advance. Accepted payment methods:
• Online banking
• Credit or debit card
If payment is not received within 2 days of the order, OtherKinds may cancel the order automatically.
Invoices not disputed by registered letter within 8 calendar days of the invoice date are considered definitively accepted.
Late payments will accrue interest at the rate set by Art. 5 §2 of the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions. In addition, a flat-rate penalty applies:
• Invoices up to €150: €20
• Invoices €150.01–€500: €30 + 10% on the amount between €150.01 and €500
• Invoices above €500: €65 + 5% on the amount exceeding €500 (max. €2,000 total)
For B2B customers: late payment interest of 10% per year applies automatically, plus a flat-rate penalty of 10% of the outstanding amount (minimum €25 per invoice).
Article 6 – Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address provided in the order form within 2–8 working days of receipt, subject to payment confirmation. Delivery timelines are indicative and not strictly binding. Reasonable delays do not entitle the customer to cancel the order or claim damages.
Delivery is made by the carrier selected at checkout. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination:
• Belgium, Netherlands, Germany: €6,95 (€4,95 in Belgium and NL for letterbox packs)
• Luxembourg, France: €9.95
• Austria, Denmark, Monaco: €11.99
• Spain: €13.99
• Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia: €17.99
• Croatia, Finland, Ireland, Romania, Sweden, Estonia, UK&I: €21.99
• Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Hungary, Malta, Romania: €27.99
• Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Iceland, Isle of man, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Moldova, North Macedonia, Norway, Svalbard, Switzerland, Ukraine: €44.99
OtherKinds currently ships within Europe and the UK. For countries not listed at checkout, contact us at hello@OtherKinds.co.
Any visible damage or deficiency must be reported immediately upon delivery. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon physical receipt of the goods.
Article 7 – Retention of Title
Delivered products remain the exclusive property of OtherKinds until full payment is received. The customer agrees to inform any third parties of this retention of title where relevant.
Article 8 – Right of Withdrawal (B2C only)
The provisions in this article are only for regular customers, i.e. not professional (B2B) customers
You have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase from OtherKinds.co.
To start the return & refund policy, you have to notify us clearly and unambiguously within this timeframe through hello@otherkinds.co or via a letter to our business offices at Amelia Earhartlaan 10 - 001, 9051 Gent in Belgium.
Once notified, the customer has to ship back the product within 14 days after notifying OtherKinds of the wish to return the product. The product has to be shipped to Prijhelstraat 3, 9810 Nazareth - De Pinte, Belgium.
Refunds are only possible when the item is undamaged, unused and in the original unopened packaging. Shipping the item to the return address (Belgium) are at sole expense of the customer. No additional costs will be charged.
For repayment OtherKinds will use the same account and information as was used by the buyer unless otherwise requested by the customer and agreed by OtherKinds. The repayment will be automatic upon receiving, inspecting, and validating the quality of the returned product.

Any complaints should be submitted through the above channels.
OtherKinds will respond as promptly as possible.
Article 10 – Severability & Non-Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or void, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure by OtherKinds to enforce any right at a given time does not constitute a waiver of that right.
Article 11 – Amendments
OtherKinds may update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of the order applies to that order.
Article 12 – Proof
The customer accepts that electronic communications and records may serve as proof in any dispute.
Article 13 – Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law.
For B2C customers: any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the district where OtherKinds is registered, unless mandatory Belgian consumer protection law provides otherwise.
For B2B customers: disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Ghent district.
