Do you believe in World Peas?

We do...

We believe in good food & healthy drinks.
We believe in holy rituals and science.
We believe in creativity to build a better world.

Back in '22, we read about the devastating impact
of climate change on coffee, cacao, tea, ...
The deeper we dug, the more concerned we got.

So our minds got to thinking, to tinkering, and finally to dreaming. We believed OtherKinds of solutions were required;
we set out to work.

Today we show it's possible.
New drinks, same rituals.
Have an other... (It's All OK)

Still confused?
Let's go deeper!

Your loved ritual at risk

Coffee and tea cultivation are at risk due to erratic weather. While demand for coffee keeps growing by 2% per year, up to 60% of current aerable coffee growing land might become unsuitable to grow coffee.

This will massively impact local farmers, who are often already struggling under income stress.

Meanwhile, coffee is a significant contributor to rainforest deforestation, and the 3rd largest emitter of CO2 per kg food.

OtherKinds of solutions

We support & want to collaborate with anyone trying to save this ritual!

Our solution? Create a new drink we can learn to love as much as coffee & tea, but which is fit for the future! One that matches your cup, your body, your life, and our planet. Not to replace coffee or tea, but to complement & extend it. To maintain and protect those little moments that make us human in the new era.

In peas we trust

Since 2022, we tried everything, leaves, branches, roots, kernels, seeds, ... when finally we roasted our lightly fermented peas. They proved the perfect fit.

Great for our planet and soil, good for your body. Naturally free from caffeine & rich in fibre & protein.

Three additional years of optimising the fermentation, roasting, & grinding have brought us to where we are today.

Try it now!

May the peas be with you.

Frequently asked questions

Is OtherKinds fully caffeine free?

Yes! OtherKinds is made from roasted & fermented peas, and therefore naturally doesn't contain any caffeine.

We're not "decaf", there literally was "No Caf" ever involved.

This implies that even people with significant caffeine sensitivies or allergies are safe to consume OtherKinds.

It also makes it a great fit for pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as suitable for children.

Will OtherKinds give me an energy boost?

Our A-OK latte actually delivers naturally, sustained body energy, as it's high in protein and fibre.

Of course, it could also just be you feeling relaxed and good about yourself, surprisingly energising that...

Does OtherKinds contain allergens?

OtherKinds is made from Peas, which are part of the legume family. If you have a history of sensitivity to legumes, please consult your medical professional for advice.

OtherKinds is manufactured in a facility which processes gluten containing grains. At the moment, we pro-actively warn that trace amounts of gluten linked to barley might be present.

However, we take great care in cleaning our equipment as much as possible and roasting degrades most gluten. On top of that, any typical paper filter (for most filter machines) will block any gluten from passing through.

Full allergen information is listed on the product packaging.

What is OtherKinds made from?

OtherKinds is made from roasted and fermented European peas. That’s it. No artificial flavours, no additives, no ingredients you’d need a chemistry degree to pronounce.

For our A-OK Latte variants, we've added in some roasted European St.John's Bread to deliver a bit of sweetness.
